KICKSTART
YOUR AERIAL TRAINING
I'm not going to lie training aerial can be one of the most challenging things you can do. Especially at the beginning when everything feels like it's impossible!

This is where the KICKSTART COURSE comes in.

We understand that aerial is hard at the beginning. This is why we've designed a course to get you through that difficult, steep learning curve that happens when you're just getting started.

So if you're keen to start aerial training but don't know where to begin, feel nervous about starting something new, or just plain daunted by the whole thing...

Don't worry we've got you!
Some people just need a little extra help at the beginning and that's what the Kickstart's for.
Aerial Kickstart
4 week course
PERFECT FOR COMPLETE BEGINNERS WHO WANT TO
START TRAINING AERIAL
In this course we teach aerial using the hammocks. This means you have a loop of fabric to work with (it's sort of like having stabilisers on) which means you still learn all the basic shapes and tricks but the loop of fabric makes things a LOT easier.

We also do a ton of aerial conditioning (to help you build strength) so that by the end of the course when you try aerial out for real... you'll be feeling super confident, and it will be second nature to be dangling in the air, turning upside down and hanging from your arms.

So no jumping in the deep end - this course will ease you in gradually, breaking things down in small bite sized chunks, building your strength, your confidence and your grip up gradually.

Frequently asked questions
I'm worried I'll be terrible at it and look silly.
Do not worry about looking silly - as we all look a bit silly at first when we're trying the new moves out! It's really not about what we look like - it's more about getting into it and giving it a go that counts.
What if I can't do it and hold the class up?
No need to worry about this since - everyone learns at different speeds and it is the teacher's job to control the class. So if you need a little extra time and assistance the teacher will work with you while the rest of the class works on something else. If it really becomes a problem we may recommend that you have a private lesson to help catch up.
What if I won't be able to do it at all?
Don't worry because we have experienced teachers who know exactly how to break moves down so that even the slowest learners can pick things up, or alternatively offer an easier progression. We all learn at different speeds and teachers know this and will help you with wherever you are at.
I can't wait to start - is there anything I can be doing to prepare?
Start working on your conditioning to get your core strength better. Especially on a pull up bar as this relates very closely to doing aerial. If you don't have a pull up bar then sit ups, leg raises, planks and press ups are the next best thing.
